My July favourites !

Here's my favourites that I have been raving about this July !!

I have already reviewed the Vaseline spray and go, it's definitely a product I use everyday and would keep on purchasing ! Such a lightweight feel :) £4.99 boots

Alpha H micro cleanse
Amazing brand and amazing exfoliatior, really cleans my skin without feeling too harsh. It has micro beads in it so its really  gentle, I use this twice a week to bring a fresher complexion to my skin. £24.78 QVC

The body shop coconut mist
I don't like wearing heavy fragrances when it's hot outside, it gives me a headache ! This body mist contains my favourite scent of coconut and it's still light to use ! I love spritzing it in the summer months for a light, gentle feel. £7.50 100ml the body shop.

Bare minerals flawless definition volumizing mascara
I've been using this mascara religiously this summer ! I love the volume effect it gives on my lashes and the black colour is pigmented lovely ! Would definitely recommend to those who love big, volumized lashes ! Looks even better with a primer underneath ! (Try clinique's one) £16.

Benefit sun beam
My last product I have been raving about this July is this little nail varnish style pot ! The liquid highlighter is gold and perfect for all skin tones ! ( I have really fair skin) it gives gorgeous light to the places needed, such as cheeks and brows ! It blends in nicely :-) definitely will try highbeam in the winter months ! £19.50 benefit.

What are your July favourites ? Have you tried any of mine ? :-)

Origins GinZing Energy boosting moisturiser

I have needed a new moisturiser for a while now, just not happy with my current one. When choosing a face cream I always go for one that is oil free as my skin is super oily anyway !

So I've seen some AMAZING reviews on this cream which is excellent value at £23 for 50ml size !

What attracted me to it was the bright orange packaging and it does not disappoint when you open it either as the  smell is just as citrus as the packaging !

The texture is a gel based cream (which I love) , oil free, and you only need a small amount as a little goes a long way !

The cream itself is full of skin boosters to make you more radiant such as panax ginseng and coffee bean ! It basically gives dull skin that radiance it needs.

I really love this face cream, after one application I can already tell a difference which is great. Its perfect use morning and evening as there is no SPF included.  I would definitely recommend it to those who need a bit of spark in their skin.

What are you favourite origins products ?

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine nail paint

Morning guys. I wanted to share with you all some of my favourite nail laquers.  These Barry M nail varnishes are relatively new to the collection, they have been out about a year.

What makes them different from other nail varnishes is the stunning hi shine finish from them.  I adore the block colour they give.

From L - R... 14 key lime, 7 satsuma, 5 blueberry, 11 dragon, 6 prickly pear, 15 guava, 8 grapefruit and 12 Greenberry !

Wearing 15 guava on my toes ! I love the long wearity out of them.

Have you tried any of these nail paints ? :-)

Mally perfect prep primer

Hi guys so I believe that a primer is a key product in any make up routine (especially mine)

My skin is really oily and I hate my skin when I don't use a primer !

I have tried many ( and I mean many) over the years and currently I am using this one by Mally !

For those of you who haven't heard of Mally, she is an American make up artist who is whacky and appears on QVC a lot .  I really like her make up brand and it's excellent value when you buy her sets from qvc (which is the only place in the UK you can buy Mally)

So back to the primer ! It's quite a silky matte texture and really sits on the skin nicely. It mattifys my shiny face and masks my pores. My make up lasts for hours.  If I'm feeling really oily I will use benefits porefessional on the parts of my face I need a bit of "extra" tlc.

A little really goes a long way ! I have had my tub for about 5 months and I'm still working my way through it !

What are your favourite primers ? Have you tried any of Mally's make up ?

Check out her range on the QVC UK website :)

L'oreal paris skin perfection 3 in 1 purifying micellar solution

Okay so i have heard some AMAZING reviews about this over the last few weeks and i thought i would jump on the bandwagon and find some ! I found it on offer in superdrug for £3.66 i think it was !

Basically Micellar solution is used by make up artists all over the world, it is like water but acts like a remover, toner and soother all in one.

It claims to:

 1) disolve make up
2) unclogs pores and removes impurities
3) tones and soothes skin

So i used it last night for the first time to take off my make up (usually use Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser) but this seemed so much quicker and easier without me having to use the sink ! First impressions are that i actually LOVE it and why hasn't it been in the UK longer ? It didn't sting my eyes like previous make up removers do when you get some in your eye ! (ouch)

I havent really used it long enough to see if it will tone my skin and unclog my pores. I will definitely continue to use this as a pre cleanse i think in the evening, i love how quick and easy it is to use.  I use about 3 large flat cotton pads to take my entire make up off.  I can't recommend it enough !!

Have you tried this yet ? what do you think ?

Benefit dandelion face powder

So I've been in love with these little box powders from benefit for years now and at £23.50 they are a bargain for how long the last !

Originally I purchased dandelion as a blusher, a day to day one. However it doesn't show up on my pale skin so I've come to love it as a brightening pink glowed face powder to put on as a finishing touch.

I love this powder and would use it for as long as they make it !!

What's your favourite box powder from Benefit ?

Bobbi brown shimmer brick nectar

Okay so one of my favourite products for the summer is this gorgeous shimmer brick from Bobbi Brown !

This brick gives the most beautiful shimmer of colour ! You get 5 rows of colour and they can all be used when blended or by themselves on the cheek bones, as eyeshadow, to contour or even as a brow highlighter !

The gorgeous pinky coral colours are perfect for any skin tone.

I love this as it is so versatile. It's simple and no fuss in one palette.

Have you tried any of the shimmer bricks by Bobbi ? What do you think ?

Clinique anti blemish oil control cleansing mask

Okay, so one of my main concerns with my skin is how blemish prone it is ! I have acne scars and active blemish's (a girls nightmare).  I adore Clinique's anti-blemish range as its one of the only things that i can actually use on my sensitive skin !  The oil control cleansing mask is amazing and is a firm favourite in my weekly mask routine.

So, the mask itself is a soothing clay based mask (which i love) and it draws out any impurities from the skin, mattifies my shine, unclogs my pores and generally balances out the oil.  I use it twice a week and i find it really does calm my blemishes down and the redness that is brought with them.  I leave it on for 5 minutes (or until it dries) then buff it off with a small facial sponge.  My skin feels brand new after use !

Its a great size at 100ml and really lasts me such a long time.  I cant rate it enough, its brilliant !

Have any of you tried it ? What are your other favourite oily skin masks ?

Rituals fortune oil

This is one of the best shower products I have used in a while ! It's by rituals, the brand that's famous for using all natural ingredients. The oil retails at £8 and is a massive 200ml size !

What I like about it is the striking scent that hits you, gorgeous sweet orange with the beautiful cedar wood. It's a nice balance of both the citrus and the wood.

The oil itself must be used on damp skin and it lightly foams up leaving soft bubbles on the skin. It's very calming on the skin which I love.

This oil is part of the laughing Buddha range which is a Chinese philosophy about happiness and laughter ! Your senses are really uplifted by the scent ! :-)

Have you tried any rituals products ? Why are your favourites ? Il blog about their shower foams soon !

Monsters inc nails !

So I'm a massive nail varnish junkie !! I love trying new bang on trend colours and doing funky designs too ! So thought I would give a monsters inc design a go with the new movie being released !

All Barry m nail laquers ! I used for sully blueberry 306 and bright purple 303.

For mike wasowski I used gelly key lime 317, black 47 and Matt white 66 ! I also used the nail art pens too :-)

What do you guys think ?

Garnier moisture match

I'm a sucker for new skin care that "claims" it does this and that... In my local body care these were on offer for £2.99 so thought I'd give them a bash ! The green one is for combination oily skin (which I have ) and it did nothing for my skin ! It made it oilier and was horrid to wear ! The orange one is for dull skin which is a gel consistency, I really liked this one cause it was light and it did brighten up my skin ! Felt lovely ! The last one I bought was for normal skin, this to me is just a basic face cream but I like that it had an SPF 20 in it ! Have you tried any of these face creams before ?

Benefit stay flawless 15 hour primer

I love the fact that benefit have brought out a new quirky primer ! It lasts for 15 hours (even on my horrid oily skin) , I do still have to touch up with my mally face defender (not all the time) still but overall it is a brilliant primer ! It glides on smoothly and when i put my foundation on with my fingers it blends really nicely ! I like the fact it is in a stick as it isn't messy and you can put it straight on. Its quite a silky feel and It's colourless too which is perfect for any skin tone to use ! I would repurchase this definitely but I have a feeling it's gonna last a while anyway !! Have any of you tried this primer ? Did you like it ?

Vaseline Spray and Go moisturiser

Okay, so i was in my local boots yesterday and i just jumped at the chance to see a spray moisturizer since i am very lazy at moisturizing,  This comes in 3 scents and i purchased the cocoa butter one at £4.99.  So this morning i used it and i was really suprised actually. It didn't take long to sink in my skin, i could get dressed straight away ! The smell was lovely, i love cocoa butter things anyway.  I would definitely repurchase this, what a brilliant invention for us lazy moisturizers !!
Have any of you tried this yet ? Let me know what you think :-)

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

So, i may as well start my blog with my holy grail product ! Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish is the best cleanser for getting stubborn make up off. I use it every night (i use clinique anti blemish in the morning) and it feels like such a treat when you team it up with the gorgeous green edged muslin cloth to buff the skin.  The cleanser itself is really creamy as it is based on a cocoa butter formula ( which i know is fab on my oily skin) and has eucalyptus oil which is great at balancing my skin.  I always try to grab a 200ml size of this cleanser when i see it on QVC as i know it lasts months.  It makes me skin feel so refreshed and radiant after i use it.

Have any of you tried this cleanser before ? what do you think ?

(oh and i know at the end of august they are releasing a limited edition of the cleanser with grapefruit and patchouli ! so excited for this !! )
